Thanksgiving Crafts
Ok, so I’m not really that crafty though I try to be I always feel like it’s just so much work when I can buy things already made and save myself some time. haha. However when I saw this tutorial on the blog at Mommy’s Little Sunshine with step by step direction on making a Turkey headband, it was just sooo cute I had to make it for my friends beautiful little girl for Thanksgiving.
First I had to make a run to Joanne’s to get the necessary suppiles:
Next Step was to make the body of the turkey:
Then I cut the strips for the feathers:
From there you loop them around and glue them to get ready to attach to Ms Turkey:
Once I attached them in the designated color pattern I added a beak and cute little bow for her to wear:
Here I am demonstrating how it would look if I wore it! Haha
Last step was to add the googly eyes:
I think it actually came out really cute!! Don’t you all wish you had Turkey bows you could have rocked on Thanksgiving!! It’d probably make a cure Thanksgiving pin also.
Lastly though I must share a pic of beautiful little Sloanie girl wearing her bow!! Seriously how cute!! Love it!!
