Halloween 2012

So in celebration on Halloween last Saturday I met Nancy and Cayden to go to the Halloween festival in Lake Mary. It was actually a cute set up, but we didn’t expect literally the entire city and all surrounding ones to be there. It was so packed!! If they had spread it out a little I think it would have helped but there were lines to get to all the tables and so many kids everywhere. I only stayed for about 30 min. Here’s a few highlights:

My cat ears! Meow!

Cayden looking cute as Buzz Lightyear!

Trick or Treat with Mommy!

so cute!!

This little doggie was dressed up as a turtle!

Hahaha!

After leaving the festivities in the park I met Mom to go to a party at her neighbors house. She said costumes weren’t required, but everyone there was dressed up!! Luckily I had my cat ears so I as saf, but Matt showed up with out any festive attire and so some was provided for him!

My Little Pumpkin!! The headband is the best part!!

The did a good job decorating the party and even the food had touches of Halloween in them!! Matt and I didn’t know anyone at the party, my Mom just didn’t want to go alone, so we hung out by the nice fire pit they had out back next to the pool. It was a nice time and pretty much the only celebrating of Halloween we did this year.

That’s guacamole the pumpkin is spewing! haha

Here we are!

My Mom and her spider friend

On the actual day of Halloween we had a costume parade with the kiddies at school. The parents were invited and the kids got to parade around for them in the multipurpose room. It was quick but the kids enjoyed it I think. The rest of the day however you would have thought we doped them up on Halloween candy they were so hyper and crazy, but they had none!! It was definitely an exhausting day! My kids made paper plate pumpkins and q-tip skeletons, both came out super cute! However I only have a picture of the pumpkins to share!
For our own personal Halloween celebrating we actually turned off the porch lights so no one would come to the door (we barely get any kids anyway and I didn’t want to buy candy and get stuck with it) and Matt made us a very yummy sushi feast!! We used our cute sushi serving plates with it and it was awesome!! He’s quite the sushi chef these days!
Oh and of course no post is complete with out a Happy Halloween picture from Lucky!!
Our little Skele-dog!!

Happy Halloween!!
